Product details
As a member of the EVX family, the CSB EVX12200 is a 12V top terminal valve regulated sealed lead acid battery using AGM technology. Its gas recombination efficiency can reach 99%, and it features a pure lead construction for maintenance-free operation. This model is primarily designed for electric mobility and deep cycle energy applications. The nominal capacity is 20Ah (measured at 25°C, 1.75VPC, 20-hour rate). At the 8-hour rate, it is 16.96Ah (1.75VPC) or 16.24Ah (1.80VPC).
In terms of electrical parameters, the EVX12200 can withstand a maximum charge current of 6.00A, a maximum discharge current of 230A, and a short-circuit current of 607A, with an internal resistance of 13.5mΩ. The equalization charge voltage range is between 14.4 and 15.0Vdc (at 25°C), while the float charge voltage is not provided in the data. Regarding self-discharge, when stored at 25°C for 90 days, self-discharge can be kept within 10%, and it can be stored for up to 6 months. However, it must be fully charged before use, and if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, it should be charged in advance.
The terminal adopts an I1 type design, compatible with M5 bolts. The terminal torque is 30.4±6.1 Kgf·cm, 26.4±5.3 Lbf·in, or 3.0±0.6 N·m. The case is made of ABS material with a flame retardant rating of UL 94-HB. Dimensions are length 181.0±2.0mm, width 76.0±1.0mm, height 165.0±2.0mm, and weight 6.55kg (14.44 lb).
Operating temperature conditions: nominal temperature 25°C; discharge temperature range -15°C to 50°C; charge and storage temperature range -15°C to 40°C. In terms of design life, at 25°C, 100% DOD cycling can reach 400 cycles, or 30% DOD cycling can reach 1800 cycles. This product is manufactured according to IEC 60254-1:2005 and IEC 60254-2:2008 standards and is recognized by UL1989 (MH14533).
The EVX12200 can be applied in electric mobility and deep cycle scenarios. The combination of pure lead construction and AGM design helps maintain stable performance during cyclic use. Charge and discharge management should be operated according to the above voltage, current, and temperature conditions. After storage, supplementary charging should be performed as specified to keep the battery in normal operating condition.
