Brand Introduction

CSB Energy Technology Co., Ltd. holds a leading global position in the Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) battery field. The company was established on November 28, 1986, originally under the name Taiwan Kobe Battery Co., Ltd.; in 1987, it was jointly funded and operated with Shin-Kobe Electric Machinery Co., Ltd.; in May 2020, the company name was officially changed to CSB Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Currently, the total number of employees exceeds 2,000, and products are sold to more than 100 countries and regions.

The company's global headquarters is located at 11F, No. 150, Section 4, Chengde Road, Shilin District, Taipei City, Taiwan, China (111052). In mainland China, CSB Energy Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. serves as the China headquarters, with offices at Room 2304, Youyou International Plaza, No. 76 Pujian Road, Shanghai; the Shenzhen branch is located at Room 209, 2nd Floor, Building A, Xincheng Plaza, No. 86 Puxia Road, Liuyue Community, Henggang Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen. Manufacturing bases span Taiwan, China, Vietnam, the Philippines, and mainland China, thereby establishing a multi-regional production and supply network.

In terms of product lineup, there are currently 142 models on sale, grouped into 20 series, with voltage levels including 2V cells, 6V, 12V, and 512V lithium battery cabinets; capacity types cover 4.5Ah to 1700Ah, while power types cover 18W to 9000W (5 to 15 minute rate). These products are based on Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid (VRLA) design, utilizing Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) to achieve efficient gas recombination, with a recombination rate of up to 99%; they also feature pure lead grid structures and proprietary formulations, thus offering maintenance-free, rechargeable, and leak-proof characteristics.

In terms of applications, the products serve data center UPS, renewable energy, telecom, general-purpose, and electric mobility scenarios. The data center UPS direction addresses uninterrupted power supply needs for enterprise, cloud, hyperscale, multi-tenant, edge, and colocation services; the renewable energy direction is suitable for residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale energy storage, meeting deep-cycle, long-duration discharge needs; the telecom direction handles float long-duration backup tasks for wired trunk stations, wireless macro stations, and wireless small cells; the general-purpose direction targets daily uses such as emergency lighting, security, and medical equipment; the electric mobility direction is used for deep-cycle scenarios in personal mobility devices such as scooters, wheelchairs, and RVs.

In terms of standards and specifications, according to product model data, referenced standards include IEC 61056-1/2:2012, IEC 60896-21/22:2004, IEC 60254-1:2005 / IEC 60254-2:2008, IEC 61427, UL1989 Recognized (MH14533), etc.; Calor XHT-FT additionally bears UL 1973 Recognized (MH66728). Design life is given under float standby at 25°C conditions, ranging from 5 to 20 years, with some series bearing Eurobat (20°C) classification markings. Charging voltage is based on 25°C, with float and equalize ranges specified separately per battery or cell, for example, 12V batteries have a float charge of 13.5-13.8 Vdc and an equalize charge of 14.4-15.0 Vdc; nominal temperature is 25°C, discharge temperature range is -15°C to 50°C (some series are -25°C to 50°C), and charge and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C.
