Product details
The CSB MSV-1000 in the MSV series is a 2V valve regulated sealed lead acid battery featuring AGM absorbent glass mat technology, gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and a maintenance-free design. High-capacity, long-life emergency and telecom applications are the series' main positioning, with the MSV-1000's official application area being Telecom.
In terms of capacity parameters, at 25°C and 1.80 VPC, the MSV-1000 has a 10-hour rate nominal capacity of 1000Ah; at 25°C and 1.75 VPC, the 8-hour rate is 984.00Ah and the 20-hour rate is 1030.00Ah; at 25°C and 1.80 VPC, the 8-hour rate is 960.00Ah. The battery has an internal resistance of 0.38 mΩ, a maximum charge current of 300.00A, and a maximum discharge current of 6000A.
Regarding charging and temperature conditions, at 25°C the float charge voltage is 2.21 to 2.25 Vdc/battery, and the equalize charge voltage is 2.35 Vdc/battery. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C, the discharge temperature range is -15°C to 50°C, and the charge and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C. Self-discharge is less than 10% after 90 days of storage at 25°C, and storage is possible for up to 6 months at 25°C, with a full charge required before use; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charging should be brought forward accordingly.
In terms of construction, the MSV-1000 uses a pure lead construction and proprietary formulation, with a case made of flame-retardant ABS material compliant with UL 94-V0. The terminal is an I4 threaded copper alloy terminal that accepts an M8 bolt, with a terminal torque of 126±25 Kgf·cm, 109±22 Lbf·in, or 12.3±2.5 N·m. Dimensions are 471.0±2.5mm in length, 171.0±2.0mm in width, and 339.0±2.5mm in height, with a weight of 64.40kg.
In terms of life and compliance, under 25°C float charge standby service, the MSV-1000 has a design life of up to 15 years; under Eurobat 20°C conditions it exceeds 12 years, achieving the Very Long Life rating. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). Therefore, these characteristics make it suitable for backup power applications requiring long-term float charge standby, such as telecom.
