The CSB XTV12800 from the XTV series is a 12V Top Terminal valve regulated sealed lead acid battery featuring AGM technology and a pure lead construction. This series is purpose-built for telecom broadband applications and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. At 25°C and 1.75 VPC, the battery delivers a 20-hour rate nominal capacity of 80 Ah and an 8-hour rate capacity of 74.2 Ah; at 1.80 VPC, the 8-hour rate capacity is 73.0 Ah. The nominal voltage is 12 Vdc. In terms of electrical performance, the XTV12800 has a maximum charge current of 24 A, a maximum discharge current of 800 A, a short-circuit current of 1917 A, and an internal resistance of only 4.70 mΩ. The float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery at 25°C, and the equalize charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery (25°C). The terminal uses an I2 thread lead alloy terminal, accepts an M6 bolt, and has a torque value of 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in, or 5.1±1.0 N∙m. In terms of dimensions, the battery is 261.0±2.5 mm long, 168.5±2.0 mm wide, and 213.5±2.5 mm high, and weighs 25.50 kg. The case is made of PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is also available on request. Operating temperature: nominal 25°C, discharge and charge range -20°C to 50°C, storage range -15°C to 40°C. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is UL1989 Recognized (MH14533). Self-discharge performance: stored at 25°C for 90 days, capacity loss is less than 10%, and it can be stored at 25°C for up to 6 months; it must be fully charged before use, and if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, it must be charged earlier. Based on these characteristics, the XTV12800 is suitable for float backup power in telecom base stations and meets the requirements of indoor and outdoor broadband applications for long-life, maintenance-free batteries.
