The CSB HR1218W is a 12V valve regulated sealed lead acid battery in the HR series of high rate discharge pure lead batteries, positioned by the manufacturer for small-output UPS and fast-discharge backup power applications. At 1.67 VPC @25°C, its nominal capacity is expressed as 18W at the 15-minute rate; the 5-minute rate power reaches 38.1 W/cell, and the 15-minute rate power is 17.8 W/cell, making it suitable for backup power scenarios requiring high power output over a short period.
This battery uses a valve regulated sealed lead acid structure combined with Absorbent Glass Mat technology, achieving gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and is a maintenance-free design overall. The positive and negative plates are made with pure lead construction and a proprietary formula, which helps high rate discharge performance. The case is made of ABS material with a flame retardant rating meeting UL 94-HB; a 94-V0 flame retardant version can also be supplied if required. The product complies with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is recognized under UL1989.
