In CSB's product lineup, the HR1224W belongs to the HR series and is a 12V Top Terminal valve regulated sealed lead acid battery. It uses Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, achieving gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, so it requires no maintenance during normal operation. This series is positioned as a high-rate discharge pure lead battery, designed for UPS and backup scenarios with lower output power and fast discharge requirements; the official application direction is data center uninterruptible power supply. In terms of specifications, the HR1224W operates at 12 Vdc; at 1.67 VPC and 25°C, its 15-minute rate nominal capacity is 24W. Also based on 1.67 VPC and 25°C, its 5-minute rate power reaches 54.8 W/cell, and its 15-minute rate power is 27.0 W/cell. The battery allows a maximum charge current of 2.40 A, short-circuit current of 260 A, and internal resistance of 20.6 mΩ. The terminal is F2-Faston Tab250 type. In terms of dimensions and weight, the HR1224W is 150.9±2.0 mm long, 51.0±1.0 mm wide, and 98.6±1.0 mm high, weighing 1.95 kg. The case is made of ABS and meets UL 94-HB flame retardant rating; a 94-V0 flame retardant case is also available upon request. Charging parameters and temperature ranges are as follows: at 25°C, float charge voltage is between 13.5 and 13.8 Vdc/battery, and equalize charge voltage is between 14.4 and 15.0 Vdc/battery. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C; discharge allows -15°C to 50°C, while charge and storage allow -15°C to 40°C. For self-discharge, after 90 days at 25°C, capacity loss is less than 10%, and storage can last up to 6 months, but a full charge is required before use; if storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charge earlier. This product is manufactured according to IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is UL1989 Recognized (MH14533) certified. With its high-rate discharge characteristics and pure lead construction, it is suitable for float service scenarios such as data center UPS that require fast discharge backup.
