Part of the HR series, the CSB HR1290W is a 12V Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid battery. This series is manufactured with pure lead and designed for high rate discharge, making it suitable for UPS systems with lower output power and backup power applications requiring rapid discharge. Thanks to its Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid construction and Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, the battery achieves a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%. The pure lead construction combined with a proprietary element formula enables it to perform well in high rate UPS and float backup power applications. In terms of electrical parameters, the HR1290W has a voltage of 12 Vdc, a 15-minute rate nominal capacity of 90W, a 5-minute rate power of 179 W/cell, and a 15-minute rate power of 90.0 W/cell. The maximum charge current is 9.00 A, the maximum discharge current is 300 A, the short-circuit current is 836 A, and the internal resistance is 9.9 mΩ. At 25°C, the float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery.
