Product details
The CSB MSJ-800 belongs to the MSJ series and is a 2V VRLA-AGM battery officially positioned as a high-capacity, long-life telecom backup battery series. Under float charge at 25°C, it offers a design life of up to 20 years, meeting the Eurobat long life classification for very long life of greater than 12 years at 20°C. Its rated voltage is 2Vdc. At 1.80VPC and 25°C, the nominal capacity at the 10-hour rate is 800Ah; at the 8-hour rate and 1.75VPC it is 808.00Ah; at the 20-hour rate and 1.75VPC it is 840.00Ah; and at the 8-hour rate and 1.80VPC it is 792.00Ah, meeting the capacity requirements of telecom backup power.
The battery uses a valve regulated sealed lead acid construction and Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, achieving a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99% in a maintenance-free design. It features a pure lead construction and proprietary formulation for high-capacity float backup power applications, is manufactured to IEC 60896-21/22:2004, and is recognized to UL1989 (MH14533). The case material is flame-retardant ABS meeting UL 94-V0.
Electrically, the MSJ-800 has a float charge voltage of 2.21 to 2.25Vdc per cell at 25°C, an equalization charge voltage of 2.35Vdc per cell, a maximum charge current of 240.00A, a maximum discharge current of 4800A, and an internal resistance of 0.25 mΩ. The terminal is an I4 threaded copper alloy terminal that accepts an M8 bolt with a torque of 126±25 Kgf·cm, 109±22 Lbf·in, or 12.3±2.5 N·m.
Dimensions: width 174.0±2.0 mm, height 339.0±2.5 mm, depth 373.0±2.5 mm, weight 56.70 kg. Operating temperature: nominal 25°C, discharge temperature range -15°C to 50°C, charge and storage temperature range -15°C to 40°C. Self-discharge characteristics: less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C, can be stored for up to 6 months at 25°C with a full charge before use; if storage temperature is above 25°C, recharge earlier.
The MSJ-800 is suitable for float backup power applications in the telecom field, and its high capacity and long life design help reduce replacement frequency. During installation, tighten the M8 bolts to the specified terminal torque and set the corresponding voltage according to float or equalization charge requirements to ensure stable operation within the recommended temperature range.
