Product details
The CSB GPL121000 belongs to the GPL series and is a 12V Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid battery. As the long life version of the GP series, the GPL series is designed for general backup power applications, aiming to provide a longer service life. The battery uses Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, achieving a gas recombination efficiency of 99%. It is maintenance-free and suitable for float backup power.
In terms of capacity, the GPL121000 at 25°C and 1.75 VPC has a 20-hour rate nominal capacity of 100 Ah, a 20-hour rate measured capacity of 103.80 Ah, an 8-hour rate (1.75 VPC) capacity of 95.20 Ah, and an 8-hour rate (1.80 VPC) capacity of 94.40 Ah. The battery has a maximum charge current of 30.00 A, a maximum discharge current of 800 A, a short-circuit current of 2606 A, and an internal resistance of 3.2 mΩ.
In terms of dimensions, the battery is 343.0 mm long, 170.0 mm wide, and 216.9 mm high, with a weight of approximately 33.50 kg. The terminal uses an I2 threaded lead alloy terminal, accepts M6 bolts, and has a terminal torque of 51.7±10.3 Kgf·cm, which is 44.9±9.0 Lbf·in or 5.10±1.0 N·m. The case material is PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is also available upon request.
For charging parameters, at 25°C the float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C, the discharge temperature range is -15°C to 50°C, and the charge and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C. In terms of self-discharge, after 90 days of storage at 25°C, the remaining capacity is greater than 90%. It can be stored for up to 6 months, and requires a full charge before use; if the storage temperature is above 25°C, it should be charged sooner.
In terms of life, the design life is up to 10 years under float backup service at 25°C, and greater than 12 years under the Eurobat (20°C) standard, belonging to the Very Long Life category. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is recognized by UL1989 (MH14533). These features make it suitable for general backup power applications requiring long-term float standby.
