The CSB GPL12650 in the GPL series is a 12V Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid battery, a long life version of the GP series designed for general purpose float backup power with the goal of extending service life. This battery uses Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, achieves a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, is maintenance-free, and features pure lead construction with a proprietary formula. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is recognized under UL1989 (MH14533).
In terms of capacity, the GPL12650 has a nominal capacity of 65Ah (1.75VPC @25°C, 20-hour rate). Capacities under different discharge conditions are: 70.40Ah at 20-hour rate 1.75VPC @25°C, 63.60Ah at 8-hour rate 1.75VPC @25°C, and 62.40Ah at 8-hour rate 1.80VPC @25°C. The maximum charge current is 19.50A, the maximum discharge current is 500A, the short-circuit current is 1637A, and the internal resistance is 5.3mΩ.
