Within the UPS series, the CSB UPS12580 is a top terminal type Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid (VRLA) battery, available in both 6V and 12V versions. It uses Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and its body is made of pure lead with proprietary elements added. Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is the core application for this battery, and data center UPS float charge backup power scenarios are especially suitable. In terms of electrical specifications, the UPS12580 provides 12 Vdc voltage and a nominal capacity of 580W @5min-rate (9.60V per PCS @ 25°C). At 5 minutes 1.67 VPC, power per cell reaches 94.17 W/cell; at 15 minutes 1.67 VPC, it is 43.50 W/cell. The maximum charge current is 4.80 A, the maximum discharge current is 130 A, the short circuit current is 575 A, and the internal resistance is 11.80 mΩ. At 25°C, the float charge voltage is 13.5 - 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage is 14.4 - 15.0 Vdc/battery. The terminal uses the F2 terminal - Faston Tab 250 type, the case is made of ABS (UL 94-HB) material, and a flame retardant (94-V0) version is available upon request. At 25°C, the self-discharge rate is less than 10% after 90 days, and storage is possible for up to 6 months, but the battery must be fully charged before being put into use; once the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charging should be carried out earlier. This product meets the IEC 61056-1/2:2012 standard and is recognized under UL1989 (MH14533).
