The CSB XPL4700 is a pure lead valve regulated sealed lead acid battery in the XPL series, featuring high capacity, Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and maintenance-free operation. Nominal voltage 12V; at 25°C and 9.60V per cell, the 5-minute rate power reaches 4700W. The terminal uses I2 threaded lead alloy, compatible with M6 bolts, with a recommended torque of 5.1±1.0 N·m. Designed specifically for high-rate UPS and float backup power applications, this battery is well-suited for data center uninterruptible power systems. At 1.67VPC and 25°C, the 30-second, 5-minute, and 15-minute power ratings are 1054.67 W/cell, 758.17 W/cell, and 438.83 W/cell, respectively. Maximum charge current 39.20A, maximum discharge current 1050A, short-circuit current 2759A, internal resistance 2.86 mΩ. Under float charge at 25°C, the XPL4700 has a design life of up to 10 years; it also meets the Eurobat standard (20°C) requirement of greater than 12 years long life. Float voltage 13.5-13.8 Vdc/cell (25°C), equalize voltage 14.4-15.0 Vdc/cell (25°C). Operating temperature range: discharge -15°C to 50°C, charge/storage -15°C to 40°C, nominal temperature 25°C.
