Product details

The GP121000 is a general purpose Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid battery in CSB's GP series, covering 6V and 12V top terminal VRLA-AGM product types. This model has a nominal voltage of 12 Vdc; at 25°C and 1.75 VPC, its nominal capacity at the 20-hour rate is 100 Ah. Other capacity data is also listed: 94.4 Ah at the 8-hour rate at 1.75 VPC; 102 Ah at the 20-hour rate at 1.75 VPC; 92.0 Ah at the 8-hour rate at 1.80 VPC. In terms of electrical parameters, the GP121000 can withstand a maximum charge current of 30.00 A, a maximum discharge current of 800 A, a short-circuit current of 2323 A, and an internal resistance of only 4.4 mΩ. At 25°C, the float charge voltage ranges from 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalize charge voltage ranges from 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. Regarding self-discharge, the battery loses less than 10% of its capacity after 90 days at 25°C and can be stored for up to 6 months, but must be fully charged before use; once the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charging should be carried out earlier. The battery's construction is based on a Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid design and Absorbent Glass Mat AGM technology, with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, making it a maintenance-free type. The plates use a pure lead construction with proprietary formulation elements, designed for float charge backup power applications. The case material is PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is also available on request. Terminal type I2 accepts M6 bolts, with a terminal torque of 51.7±10.3 Kgf·cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf·in, or 5.10±1.0 N·m. In terms of dimensions and weight, the GP121000 is 343.0±2.5 mm (13.50±0.10 in) long, 170.0±2.0 mm (6.69±0.08 in) wide, 216.9±2.5 mm (8.54±0.10 in) high, and weighs 30.6 kg (67.44 lb). Under 25°C float charge standby service, the design life can reach 5 years; under the Eurobat (20°C) standard commercial service, it is 3 to 5 years. Regarding operating temperature, the nominal temperature is 25°C (77°F), the discharge range is -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F), and the charge and storage range is -15°C to 40°C (5°F to 104°F). The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). The GP series is officially positioned as a general purpose VRLA battery series, targeting a variety of applications such as security, emergency lighting, and medical equipment. For applications requiring 12V high-capacity float charge backup power, the GP121000 is well suited; its maintenance-free AGM design and pure lead construction help backup power systems maintain stable operation.
