The GP12400 is a general purpose valve regulated sealed lead acid battery in CSB's GP series, featuring a VRLA-AGM design with 6V and 12V top terminals. The battery has a nominal voltage of 12 Vdc; discharged at the 20-hour rate at 25°C to 1.75 VPC, its nominal capacity is 40 Ah. When tested at the 8-hour rate to 1.75 VPC, the capacity reaches 43.6 Ah; at the same 8-hour rate with an end voltage of 1.80 VPC, it delivers 43.0 Ah; and at the 20-hour rate to 1.75 VPC, the capacity is 48.0 Ah. The battery supports a maximum charge current of 12.0 A, a maximum discharge current of 400 A, a short-circuit current of 1012 A, and an internal resistance of only 8.5 mΩ.
This model employs Absorbent Glass Mat technology and a valve regulated sealed lead acid design, achieving a gas recombination efficiency of 99%, thus requiring no maintenance.
