Product details

The GP12120 belongs to CSB's GP series and is a general purpose valve regulated sealed lead acid battery. Its physical design uses a 6V and 12V top terminal VRLA-AGM configuration. The nominal voltage is 12 Vdc, and the nominal capacity is 12 Ah (20hr-rate) at 1.75 VPC, 25°C. At the 8-hour rate, 1.75 VPC, 25°C, the capacity is 11.2 Ah; at the 8-hour rate, 1.80 VPC, 25°C, it is 10.96 Ah; and at the 20-hour rate, 1.75 VPC, 25°C, the capacity reaches 12.0 Ah. Electrically, this model has a maximum charge current of 3.60 A, a maximum discharge current of 180 A, a short circuit current of 378 A, and an internal resistance of 16.7 mΩ. The float charge voltage should be set at 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery (25°C), and the equalization charge voltage at 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery (25°C). The terminal is F2 terminal - Faston Tab 250. For self-discharge characteristics, after 90 days at 25°C, self-discharge is less than 10%; the battery can be stored for up to 6 months at 25°C, but must be fully charged before use; if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, the recharge time should be correspondingly advanced. Dimensions and weight are: length 151.0±2.0 mm, width 98.0±1.0 mm, height 100.3±1.5 mm, weight 3.67 kg. The case material is ABS (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant 94-V0 version is also available upon request. For operating temperature, the nominal temperature is 25°C; discharge is allowed from -15°C to 50°C; charge and storage are allowed from -15°C to 40°C. The design life is up to 5 years under float charge standby conditions at 25°C, and the Eurobat (20°C) standard commercial life is 3 to 5 years. Technically, this battery uses a valve regulated sealed lead acid structure and Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%. It is maintenance-free and uses a pure lead construction with proprietary elements. Manufacturing complies with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is recognized under UL1989 (MH14533). The official application area is general purpose, suitable for float charge backup power scenarios such as security, emergency lighting, and medical equipment. In practical use, the GP12120 can meet the needs of equipment and systems requiring 12V float charge backup power. Users should set charging according to the float or equalization charge voltage requirements at 25°C, and also pay attention to storage temperature and recharge cycles to ensure the battery remains in normal working condition.
