The CSB GP1245 is a general purpose valve regulated sealed lead acid battery in the GP series. Its VRLA-AGM construction features 6V and 12V top terminals, a nominal voltage of 12 Vdc, and a 20-hour rate nominal capacity of 4.5Ah. This series is suitable for many fields including security, emergency lighting, and medical equipment, and is especially well suited for backup power applications operating on float charge. Regarding capacity data, based on 25°C: 4.25 Ah at the 8-hour rate and 1.75 VPC; 4.58 Ah at the 20-hour rate and 1.75 VPC; 4.23 Ah at the 8-hour rate and 1.80 VPC. The battery can withstand a maximum charge current of 1.35 A, a maximum discharge current of 90, and a short-circuit current of 160 A, with an internal resistance of 37.7 mΩ. The terminal type is F2 quick-connect tab 250. The case is made of ABS, and the standard configuration meets UL 94-HB; a flame-retardant 94-V0 version is available upon request. The design life can reach 5 years under 25°C float charge standby service, and 3 to 5 years under Eurobat 20°C standard commercial conditions. In terms of self-discharge performance, storage at 25°C for 90 days does not exceed 10%, and storage is possible for up to 6 months, but the battery must be fully charged before use; if storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charge it in advance.
