Product details
The CSB GP672 in the GP series is a general purpose Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid battery with a gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, achieving maintenance-free operation through Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology. Nominal voltage 6Vdc, nominal capacity 7.2Ah (1.75VPC @25°C, 20hr-rate); in terms of capacity performance, at 1.75VPC the 8-hour rate is 7.04Ah and the 20-hour rate is 8.40Ah, while at 1.80VPC the 8-hour rate is 6.96Ah. This battery features a pure lead construction and proprietary formulation, making it suitable for float charge backup power applications.
In terms of electrical parameters, the GP672 has a maximum charge current of 2.16A, maximum discharge current of 130A, short-circuit current of 259A, and internal resistance of 12.3mΩ. At 25°C, the float charge voltage is 6.75 to 6.90Vdc/battery, and the equalization charge voltage is 7.20 to 7.50Vdc/battery. Regarding self-discharge, when stored at 25°C for 90 days, self-discharge is less than 10%, and storage can last up to 6 months; the battery must be fully charged before use, and if the storage temperature exceeds 25°C, charging should be advanced accordingly.
The dimensions are 151.0±2.0mm (L) × 34.0±1.0mm (W) × 100.7±1.5mm (H), weight approximately 1.22kg, and it uses F2 Faston Tab 250 terminals. The case material is ABS (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is available upon request. In terms of temperature adaptability, the nominal temperature is 25°C, the discharge range is -15°C to 50°C, and the charge and storage range is -15°C to 40°C. The design float life at 25°C is up to 5 years, and 3 to 5 years according to the Eurobat (20°C) standard.
The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is UL1989 recognized (MH14533). The GP series is officially positioned as a general purpose VRLA battery, and its applicable scope includes various scenarios such as security, emergency lighting, and medical equipment. With its 6V voltage and 7.2Ah capacity, the GP672 provides a maintenance-free battery solution for applications requiring float charge backup power.
