Product details
The GP12650 belongs to the CSB GP series and is a general purpose Valve Regulated Sealed Lead Acid Battery, with top terminal configurations covering 6V and 12V. Rated voltage 12 Vdc; at 25°C, 1.75 VPC, 20-hour rate nominal capacity 65 Ah; 8-hour rate capacity 62.9 Ah; 8-hour rate, 1.80 VPC capacity 62.1 Ah. This battery uses Absorbent Glass Mat AGM technology, with gas recombination efficiency up to 99%, maintenance-free, suitable for float charge backup power scenarios.
Electrically, the GP12650 can withstand a maximum charge current of 19.5 A, maximum discharge current of 500 A, short-circuit current of 1663 A, and internal resistance of 5.8 mΩ. At 25°C, float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc, equalization charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc. Self-discharge characteristics: stored at 25°C for 90 days, self-discharge is less than 10%; can be stored for up to 6 months, must be fully charged before being put into operation; if storage temperature exceeds 25°C, supplementary charging is required in advance.
In terms of structural design, the battery is equipped with I2 terminals, compatible with M6 bolts, terminal torque is 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in, or 5.10±1.0 N∙m. The case uses PP material (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant 94-V0 version can also be supplied on request. Dimensions: length 349.4±2.5 mm, width 166.0±2.0 mm, height 174.9±2.0 mm; weight 20.00 kg (44.08 lb).
Operating temperature conditions: nominal temperature 25°C; discharge allowed from -15°C to 50°C; charge and storage allowed from -15°C to 40°C. In terms of design life, up to 5 years under 25°C float charge backup service; 3 to 5 years under Eurobat 20°C standard commercial conditions. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and recognized under UL1989 (MH14533).
The GP series is officially positioned as a general purpose VRLA battery series, serving various applications such as security, emergency lighting, and medical equipment. The GP12650 uses a pure lead structure and proprietary formulation, developed for float charge backup power applications, and can serve as a backup power source in the above scenarios.
